‘Blue Monday’ by M.Thomas Long

Icon image for Teaser Tuesdays postsTeaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of ‘Should Be Reading’.

Anyone can take part, by just doing the following:

  1.  Grab your current read.
  2.  Open to a random page.
  3. Share a couple of  “teaser” sentences, from somewhere on that page.
  4. Be careful not to share “spoiler” sentences.
  5. Remember to share the title and author too.
  6. Head on over to ‘should be reading’ and leave a link to your post, so that others can share it and you can share other people’s.

It would be great if you then decided to leave a comment for MizB, as we all like to receive them and are interested in sharing your thoughts.

‘BLUE MONDAY by M.THOMAS LONG

My teaser lines are taken roughly from the 50% marker of my Kindle download.

So as not to show any spoilers I have not included a synopsis, however, if you want to find out more about the story, just click on the book image.

If you don’t really want to read any major spoilers, then you can tease yourself a little more, by reading the first few lines of the story … here.

It was just after 9:00 p.m. when Matt walked through Rosemary Harper’s ICU room door. His heart almost stopped. She was sitting up in her bed and when her eyes met his, a look of shock streaked across her face.

“Mrs. Harper, I fought the lottery tooth and nail. If you’ll pardon me, I must admit that I’m convinced that the money you won came from people who have been misled into risking money they could ill afford to risk, in an effort to obtain happiness …”

As this was an author  invitation to read and review, a Kindle download of ‘Blue Monday’, was sent to me free of charge by M.Thomas Long, in return for an honest and unbiased opinion.

This will in no way influence any comments I may express about the book, in any blog article I may post. Any thoughts or comments are my own personal opinion and I am in no way being monetarily compensated for this, or any other article.

I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.
