A Great New Find

I just can’t believe how big my ‘To Be Read’ mountain is!!

I know that I will never get to the bottom of it, but the really worrying thing is, that it’s still growing!!

I think my husband is fast moving from the ‘very worried about me’ stage, to the ‘frantic – help let me out of here’ stage!!

Somewhere in amongst my gems, there are several crime novels, written by Scandinavian authors and which, I am reliably informed, are great reads, should I ever find them, that is!!

But I digress …..

I’m not quite sure how I found it, but I managed to visit a Nordic Bookblog and came across an article about a new Swedish author, who is making a huge name for himself and is getting rave reviews:

”Lars Kepler enthralls readers with The Hypnotist, just like Stieg Larsson did with the Millennium-series… I just sit there, spellbound, while racking my brains trying to figure out who Lars Kepler is. The man who, with his magic wand, has created one of the best crime novels I have ever sacrificed a good night’s sleep for.” (Norrköpings Tidningar)

His (their) name is Lars Kepler (follow the link and you’ll see the confusion).  The first Lars Kepler book, ‘The Hypnotist‘, has already been published in several languages, but unfortunately won’t be available here until April 2011.

Check it out, Lars sounds like a great new find for all crime fiction lovers.

I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.
