Teaser Tuesday … February 22nd 2011

I am opening my book on the next page to be read and that is where my teaser sentences will be taken from this week, so I’m not really sure what they are going to relate to either.

The book in question is ‘EYESHOT’ by LYNN S. HIGHTOWER

I won’t include the synopsis, then it won’t give too much away, but just follow the picture link to Amazon, if you really need to know more …

This book is a US crime thriller and is the second case for Lynn Hightower’s Character, Detective Sonora Blair, following on from her first successful case ‘FLASHPOINT’

This Title Available From Amazon

Teaser lines from page 68..

“Sonora was working from home, which was not always a good idea, because it meant she could watch the kids while working, a possible oxymoron.”

“The current fiction involved Cuba and political asylum, mainly because of Clampett’s interest in a fake plastic cigar the kids had stashed in the dress-up box in the laundry room.”

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

1. Grab your current read.

2. Open to a random page.

3. Share two “teaser” sentences, from somewhere on that page.

4. Be careful not to share “spoiler” sentences, that give away too much about the book.

5. Remember to share the title and author too.

6. Head on over to ‘should be reading’ and leave a link to your post, so that others can share it.

Don’t forget that MizB and all the participants of the meme, love to receive your comments and thoughts, so please take the time to leave a comment after linking.

I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.
