Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
1. Grab your current read.
2. Open to a random page.
3. Share two “teaser” sentences, from somewhere on that page.
4. Be careful not to share “spoiler” sentences, that give away too much about the book.
5. Remember to share the title and author too.
6. Head on over to ‘should be reading’ and leave a link to your post, so that others can share it.
My Teaser Tuesday lines for October 19th 2010 are from:-
‘Family Feeling’ – by Katie Flynn, writing as Judith Saxton – Page 229

“I had a fry-up – cold potato and parsnip – and then I tried to heat up the Christmas pudding only it wouldn’t warm through …. I’d have been all right if it hadn’t been for the heifer”
“When the first group had done their acting, with considerable hilarity, and the two groups had changed over, Dot ventured to question her hostess”
This book was purchased from a charity shop.
I have not actually started this book yet, as I have literally just finished the last page of last week’s teaser book.
This books sounds quite intriguing and now I am hungry for a decent fry-up. My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/10/teaser-tuesdays-voltaires-calligrapher.html
Hi Jennifer,
I haven’t actually started reading it yet, so I hope it’s as good as the blurb suggests.
I read some of the author’s earlier novels, as well as several she wrote under the name of Katie Flynn, so that bodes well for this book.
I loved your teaser lines, they made me smile, on a wet and dreary afternoon, thanks
