WHAT IS ‘TEASER TUESDAY’?
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of ‘Should Be Reading’.
Anyone can take part, by just doing the following:
-.-
2. Open to a random page.
3. Share a couple of “teaser” sentences, from somewhere on that page.
4. Be careful not to share “spoiler” sentences.
5. Remember to share the title and author too.
6. Head on over to ‘should be reading’ and leave a link to your post, so that others can share it and you can share other people’s.
It would be great if you then decided to leave a comment, as we all like to receive them and are interested in sharing your thoughts.
-.-
My teaser lines this week, come from the book I am currently reading, although I have taken them from the half of the book that I have yet to read, so that I am in no way influenced to reveal too much about this romantic suspense novella.
-.-
‘FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER’ by SHERRY GLOAG
So as not to show any ‘spoilers’, I have not included a synopsis for this book, however, if you want to find out more about it, just click on the book image.
If you don’t really want to read any ‘spoilers’ yourself, then you can ‘tease’ yourself a little more, by reading the first few lines of the story … here.
-.-
“Fear crawled along her skin, spreading, swamping, creeping inwards, stealing her logic.”
-.-
“A child born out of wedlock, deserted by his royal father, Liam’s uncle, weaned on his mother’s milk and hatred for the defecting parent, he’d grown into a child who’d throw tantrums of mega proportions, and hit out at anyone who thwarted his desires.”
-.-
This contemporary romance is the first book in a series which will be known as ‘The Gasquet Princes’
-.-
Oh oh oh very interesting.

Hi Sonia,
It is always difficult when you land on a page, to find teaser lines that are not going to give away any spoilers, but I think those two lines set the scene quite well, without actually saying anything …
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you are having a good week so far.
Those are both great teasers, but I especially like that second one. It’s feisty!
Happy reading 😉
Hi Naida,
I like ‘feisty’, that just about sums up the character of Melanie, although those lines don’t refer to her, but to thoughts she is having about someone else.
The first line did make my skin crawl a bit though..
A good story so far.
Thanks for stopping by, your comments are appreciated.
Great teasers! That second one does seem to set up an interesting character. Thanks for sharing! My teaser is here.
Hi Julie,
The second teaser certainly does fire up the imagination, doesn’t it? Having now reached that point in the book, I can confirm that the recipient of those thoughts, is indeed a thoroughly nasty piece of work, hell-bent on retribution and revenge … no surprises there then.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that your week is going well so far.
🙂 Thank you.
Hi Sherry,
You are more than welcome. ‘From Now Until Forever’ seems to be attracting some interest and has also been featured on my ‘First Lines’ pages:

I promise not to take too much longer with the review.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week
I like the description of fear stealing logic…that sounds right.
Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog. Enjoy!
Hi Laurel-Rain,
I never analysed that line before, only to comment that it was kind of spooky. Your analysis of it is definitely spot on … all rational thought disappears when you are scared … thanks for pointing that out.
Thanks for the visit, I always appreciate your comments.
Hi! Thanks fro dropping by my blog!
Nice teaser.
Thanks for stopping by, it’s great to have you here.
Enjoyed your Agatha Christie teasers, always a pleasure to read anything from her books.
My teaser lines do actually set the scene quite well when I think back on them, although it isn’t always so easy to find lines that will do that, at the same time as not giving away any spoilers.
Always a fun meme to participate in.
