I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.

  • Hi Lindsay,

I would kill for a garden like this. It was packed with beautifully scented, vibrantly coloured roses, on a lovely sunny day, what more could you ask for?

  • Hi Cath,

We virtually drive past the place, every time we visit my in-laws, but last year was the first time we visited.

Didn’t realise how famous it was for the rose display, consequently it was packed out! but had a lovely day nonetheless

  • Hi Violet,

The colours were fantastic, but the aroma was almost overpowering and on a hot, sunny day, it just filled the air.

  • Hi Diane,

We too have had more snow than usual this year, here in UK, but only up in Scotland in the amounts similar to yours. It is generally much less severe, down here in the South.

Unfortunately, although we do get some lovely Spring flowers, we would have to wait until July and August, to see beautiful displays of roses, like these.
