I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.

    • Aria Fiction have acquired some excellent authors to join their venture and as I am a pre-approved reader of theirs on NetGalley, I am never short of some great books to feature, some amazing Blog Tours to take part in and, of course, some good books to read, no matter what my mood!

Thanks for stopping by, it seems like an age since we last chatted and I hope that all is well with you 🙂

  • Hi Yvonne. Both of these look great and are ones I would read. Who I Am sounds thrilling and full of secrets and What Happened to Us sounds bittersweet and hopeful. Enjoy them and happy week!

    • Like youself, I too enjoy a good mixture of genres and storylines, with the possible exceptions of fantasy and science fiction, which I seldom read.

‘Who I Am’ probably slightly has the upper hand based on the premise alone, so we shall see if that continues as my promotional and Blog Tour posts come through.

Still fighting off coughs and colds this side of the pond, but just about every other person you speak to is in the same position. Let’s just hope that isn’t an omen for the coming winter!

I hope that all is well with you and that you have some great reading lined up 🙂

    • I do enjoy reading an eclectic mix of books, depending on my mood, so having plenty of choice is always going to be good for me.

It sounds as though we are pretty much on the same wavelength when it comes to reading diversity 🙂

      Have a good week 🙂

    • I agree, that sometimes there is only so much that can be said about a post, before it all becomes rather repititious, but I still thank you for taking the time to visit and Happy Reading 🙂

    • ‘What Happened To Us?’ will probably be kept on the back-burner until I need a lighter infill read, whereas I can’t wait to read ‘Who I Am’. I do so enjoy a good psychological thriller and there are plenty of unanswered questions and intrigue, just from reading the premise!

Thanks for taking the time to visit this week, I always value your comments and Happy Reading 🙂

  • The first sounds very exciting and mysterious – definitely one that I hope you’ll feature several more times.

I can easily see the second being a wonderful book to distract from the busyness of the upcoming holiday season. Maybe you can bump it up to be your seasonal read this year.

    • I don’t really do seasonal reading, so I’m afraid that all books will have to take their proper place in my TBR queue!

In fact, I am sick of Christmas already and it is only October. All the shops are decorated and have Christmas stock on the shelves, but at least we in charity retail, tend to leave our extravaganza’s for a little later in the season, being more of a ‘mop-up’ operation for people who have left their buying until the last minute, or are looking for those inexpensive stocking fillers!

I have blog tour spots for both these books in November, with hopefully a Guest Post by Sarah Simpson, author of ‘Who I Am?’, so that should be good. As psychological thrillers go. this one has a slightly unique twist to the storyline, with the interfering mother-in-law, so I want to see how that develops and plays out.

Great to have you stop by and I apologise for this week’s delay in replying to my many commenters 🙂

    • I also enjoy being privy to a good secret or two, although how many of us are really good at keeping a secret to ourselves?

Why would someone pretend to be your best friend in order to discover all your secrets and then do nothing with the information for years?

I can feel a slow burning storyline in the offing here, I just hope that the end is as good as the getting there 🙂

    • It looks as though I am assured of a good book to read, no matter what my mood!

I am not so sure that ‘Who I Am’ is going to have a ‘happy ever after’ ending, but perhaps that very last paragraph from ‘What Happened To Us?’, is full of a little more promise.

Whilst romance in a storyline isn’t too high on my agenda, a happy ending every once in a while, certainly doesn’t go amiss!

Enjoy the rest of your week 🙂
