‘Falling’ is certainly keeping me turning the pages, with no idea where the story line is heading or what is going to happen next.
Totally random and completely out of sequence, I have read one of Emma’s more recent books, ‘Hidden’ and I loved it, so that bodes well.
Also, Emma’s books are generally stand alone stories, so I don’t have a mountainous back-story to catch up on.

Can’t you just tell that I am back in the swing of work after the Christmas / New Year break. The first few books were added to my Goodreads Reading Challenge quite quickly, but my latest book has been hanging around for over a week and I am still only half way through!
I hope that I can keep up with the ‘What’s In A Name’ challenge, as whilst it may only be half a dozen books throughout the year, finding the right titles amongst all my outstanding review requests might be quite tricky.
‘Bridges’ definitely belongs to a genre that I don’t intend to read too often, however author Marie Murnane has been kind enough to send through copy for a lovely guest post and I just couldn’t say ‘no’, although if truth be known, I didn’t really want to anyway, as this might be a fun read.

I can definitely say that I rarely read two books in a row from the same genre, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As you say, they all sound good in their own right, although I might be slightly biased towards ‘Falling’ just now, but that is probably unintentional and is simply about that being the book I am engrossed in as I write this post.
Stan Schatt is one of my regular author review requests and in the past, some of his books have taken me well out of my reading comfort zone, but as it turned out, in such a nice way. ‘Murder At The River Bend Retirement Resort’ was just a good cozy mystery and my review is on its way.

‘Falling’ is proving to be a very suspenseful and intense read, so something like ‘Bridges’ is going to bring a much needed touch of lightness to my reading schedule.
This will be the first Maria Murnane book I have read and I have a great Guest Post, which I think you will enjoy, to kick it all off, so watch this space 🙂
