Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by…
Anyone can take part, by just doing the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share a couple of “teaser” sentences, from somewhere on that page.
- Be careful not to share “spoiler” sentences.
- Remember to share the title and author too.
- Head on over to ‘should be reading’ and leave a link to your post, so that others can share it and you can share other people’s.
It would be great if you then decided to leave a comment for MizB, as we all like to receive them and are interested in sharing your thoughts.

‘DOUBLE TROUBLE’ by BETTY SULLIVAN LA PIERRE
My teaser lines are taken from page 117 on my PDF copy.
So as not to show any spoilers I have not included a synopsis, however, if you want to find out more about the story, just click on the book image.
If you don’t really want to read any major spoilers, then you can tease yourself a little more, by reading the first few lines of the story … here.

He pulled his gun and flattened his back against the wall as he silently advanced toward the partially opened entry.
When the last officer finally ventured down the steps with a clipboard full of papers, Hawkman slowly made his way up to the office.

As this was an author invitation to read and review, a PDF gift of ‘Double Trouble’, was sent to me free of charge, by its author Betty Sullivan La Pierre.
This will in no way influence any comments I may express about the book, in any blog articles I may post. Any thoughts or comments will be my own personal opinion and I am in no way being monetarily compensated for this, or any other article.

I wonder what’s going on here, especially with that first snippet. Happy reading!
Hi Naida,
I am actually past this point in the story now, so I do know what’s happening and I can probably say that it isn’t what you might be thinking …
A fantastic read so far, fast-paced and action-packed.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope that all is well with you and have a great week.
WOW,,, now I am really intriqued!!
My Teaser Tuesday!
Hi Kriss,
This storyline has more twists and turns than a snake and the picture painted by my teaser lines, is just one more red herring to add to the pot!
Thanks for stopping by, great to speak with you again.
Intrigued (or just plain nosey?) I long to know what the clipboard of papers is all about.
Hi Tracy,
I shouldn’t worry too much about it. This scene is yet another red herring to add to all the others, Hawkman has everything under control … he just doesn’t know it yet!
A great book and a series well worth following, although I am already a long way behind!
Great to have you visit today, hope the weather up North has been better than the constant rain we have had since early morning.
An interesting tease!

Hi Mary Ann,
There are plenty of teaser lines to choose from in this ever changing storyline, none of which would make the reader any the wiser about the outcome!
A character well worth pursuing into his future cases.
Thanks for taking time out to comment, I appreciate it.
Love your teaser!! My tbr pile will never get shorter…..!!!
Here is my teaser post with a guest review from my brother
Hi Gautami,
I’m with you! My TBR pile is getting steadily bigger and bigger, whilst my reading time available seems to be getting less and less … the consequences are inevitable!!
I have only filled my TBR shelves with books which have been submitted for review by their author or publisher and I have made a determined effort not to buy any more books for myself … or at least I thought I had, but as my own library also seems to be increasing in size, I guess that speaks for itself!!
I can feel another hubbie enforced cull coming on ….
Thanks for stopping by, we haven’t spoken for ages and it is good to catch up.
Interesting teaser!
Here’s my Teaser Tuesday
Hi Maria,
Interesting indeed and taken from an excellent, fast-paced story, featuring an interesting and down-to-earth protagonist.
Definitely an author I would like to read more of.
Thanks for stopping by, your comment is appreciated.
Great teaser — hope you enjoy it!
My teaser is from THE APOTHECARY’S DAUGHTER by Julie Klassen.
Hi Melissa,
I have to admit that I enjoyed ‘Double Trouble’ so much, that I have already finished reading it.
Although the review may be some time hence, I can safely say that this was a winner for me and definitely a series that I could follow.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, your visits are always appreciated.
