Sharing our love for authors, and the stories they are inspired to tell.

‘North Of Supposed To Be’ by Marcia Ferguson

So as not to show any spoilers I have not included a synopsis, however, if you want to find out more about the story, just click on the book image, or to read more about both book and author go here.

If you don’t really want to read any major spoilers, then you can tease yourself a little more, by reading the first few lines of the story … here.

The day had begun with blissful perfection. Laurent offered homemade doughnuts and chicory coffee. It was chilly and tendrils of mist curled along the runway. Giordano began the take-off as Bronwyn and Laurent strapped in and exchanged grins. The plane flew low enough to see white church steeples punctuating the landscape, and colorful boats dotting the water; a glorious infusion of color tucking into their souls. The flight path along Maine’s sunny coast offered magnificent views of reds and golds accenting the blues of the water – a visual rhapsody.

Walking down the hilly street toward the harbor, Bronwyn gestured and looked around. Laurent noticed her intensity and did the same. People were friendly to Bronwyn, but some were almost reverential. Bronwyn was nonchalant, but Laurent felt his chest puffing up. It was a shared glory, bestowing good things to the town. He knew he had no part in it, but just being with her felt rewarding.

I can’t remember a time, even as a child, when I haven’t been passionate about books and reading.
I began blogging, when I realised just how many other people out there shared my passion for the written word and I have been continually amazed at the wealth of books that are available and the amount of great new friends I have made, from literally 'The Four Corners Of The World'.
